Standard delivery ball studs are un heat-treated
However, if a higher tensile strength is required, the ball studs can be heat treated, with a minimum hardness of 52HRC or 550 HV 30, depth of hardening at least 1 mm (no full hardening permitted when dk > 13 mm) and a minimum tensile strength of Rm 600 N/mm². The heat-treated ball studs provides durable and long-lasting performance.
